Keystone, CO

I have to say graduating mid-recession isn't the worst thing that could happen, when my younger sister was unable to find a job amid this dismal economy, she up and headed out to Colorado to teach skiing. Tough life. And she even has health insurance, though I think she should get paid over time to deal with some of the idiots that work in the jib-park.

Anyways, she's stationed out in Keystone, CO and despite initially only being excited by the fact that delicious Keystone Light would most likely only cost me like .5 cents a can, I discovered that it's also a pretty sweet mountain. If I don't post anything for a bit it's because I'm shusssing down some freshies. Jealous? I know you are...!

Anyone? Anyone? Blagojevich?

Thank you Gov. Blagojevich for once again tarnishing not only Illinois politics but also the gloating mood all of us Dems have been enjoying since November 4th. I appreciate your attempt to sell the seat vacated by our President-elect, it makes me remember that scumbags come in all shapes and sizes. Really, truly, brilliant.

It's gonna be one Helluva P-A-R-T-Y

Though this is perhaps dangerous for both my physical and mental well being, the powers that be have announced that bars will not only be open and able to serve liquor until 5 am during Inauguration weekend, but also can serve food at all hours!!! Yesssssssss! This is not only awesomely-fantastic but now, for one weekend only, DC gets to pretend it's New York! And I'll be able to drunkenly gloat and revel until the wee hours of the morning! I think the best part is that this was considered "emergency legislation" by the D.C. Council...! Yeehaw!!!
